Operations Management, Regulatory Compliance Specialist
OVERVIEW
In this role, the Nuclear Manufacturing team drives the cost‑effective production and maintenance of PET radiopharmaceuticals. Responsibilities include process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental stewardship within a highly regulated environment governed by FDA, NRC, and DOT.
SHIFT & HOURS• 40 hours per week.
• Night shift required – typical hours Monday‑Friday 2:00am–11:00am, with a four‑hour flexibility window.
• Must be able to work different days, schedules, and overtime as business needs demand.
- Oversee and supervise a small team in the manufacturing of PET radiopharmaceuticals.
- Review and manage the site budget and P&L.
- Ensure cGMP and NRC regulatory compliance at the site level.
- Conduct effective presentations to internal and external audiences of various sizes.
- Make difficult and sometimes unpopular decisions, weighing pros and cons for the benefit of the team.
- Provide direction in developing individual and team development plans.
- Build confidence and respect through a positive and energizing leadership style.
- Assist the team in achieving goals and commitments, regardless of obstacles.
- Work within budgetary and financial objectives to apply profit‑driving insights to processes within the area.
- Identify opportunities for long‑term change within the team or product/service line.
- Build and maintain customer relationships, interpret customer needs, and assess business requirements.
- Leverage customer knowledge to develop alternatives and share key learnings with others.
- Resolve day‑to‑day or routine problems using defined processes.

- Step into production as business needs arise.
- Coordinate and supervise daily activities of operations or business staff.
- Administer and exercise policies and procedures.
- Ensure employees operate within guidelines.
- Make decisions that directly impact work unit operations and customers.
- Interact frequently with subordinates, customers, and peer groups at various management levels.
- Facilitate information exchange and basic problem resolution.
- Bachelor’s of Science degree in a scientific discipline preferred.
- Minimum of 2+ years of related experience in a regulated environment preferred.
- Demonstrated success in managing people and leading a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- High‑Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Gas Chromatography (GC) experience preferred.
- Strong management/supervisory experience preferred.
- Understanding of P&L review and management.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time based on business needs.
- Ability to see fine particulate and differentiate colors in liquid solutions.
- Clear hearing, writing, and speaking in English for manufacturing communication.
- Manual dexterity for equipment operation and occasional reach and lifting of small objects.
- Night shift availability.
Salary range: $90,600–$129,400.Bonus eligible:
