* As the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Coordinator - Accommodations Lead, you will serve as the agency's lead administrator and subject matter expert for ADA compliance and related civil rights programs by coordinating, directing, and overseeing complex accommodation and modification programs, associated policies, staff work, and financial resources to ensure lawful, equitable, and effective access to employment, services, and programs.
Responsibilities include:
+ Provide direction and technical expertise in the development and implementation of DCT policies, procedures, and practices related to ADA compliance, Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA), religious accommodations, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1974, and other relevant state and federal civil rights laws.
+ Review, assess, and make decisions on requests for reasonable accommodation for employees, job applicants, and program participants, ensuring a fair and equitable process.
+ Develop and deliver ADA training programs to employees and leadership, ensuring ongoing awareness of compliance requirements and best practices.
