Lead TeacherRegular Full-Time 911 Lafond Ave - Child Development Center, St. Paul, MN, US
Salary Range: $23.00 To $26.00 Hourly
About the Role:
Join a passionate early childhood education team at the Wilder Child Development Center in making a positive impact on families through a whole family focus. Provide high quality learning and care for children ages 16 months to 5 years. At Wilder we are proud to be a Head Start co-education site, NAEYC-accredited, and hold a 4-star Parent Aware rating, ensuring our commitment to excellence.
As a valued team member, you will play a key role in fostering a nurturing and supportive environment, with a focus on trauma informed practices. Contribute directly to the growth and development of children through screening and assessment, identification of development needs, design and delivery of early childhood education and curriculum, and communication with team members and parents. Maintain compliance with DHS Rule 3, NAEYC, Head Start, certification and safety standards and procedures.
Qualifications:
Early Childhood coursework, CDA or BA degree preferred, HS diploma or GED required. Must be at least 18 years of age and able to meet MN DHS Rule 3 teacher qualifications. Previous early childhood experience of at least one year. A commitment to working with children and families through a whole family approach. Willingness to learn and be trained. CPR or First Aide certification preferred.
