This is a dynamic role—75% of your time is spent as a high-level manager (coordinating trades, meeting customers, and handling administration), while 25% is hands-on, ensuring craftsmanship meets our "Quality Jobs On Budget" (QJOB) standard.
Your Primary Mission
- On-Site Leadership: Direct day-to-day supervision of field labor, technicians, and subcontractors.
- Squad Collaboration: Partner with Reconstruction Supervisors, Estimators, and Client Care Coordinators to ensure projects stay on schedule and within scope.
- Customer Advocacy: Act as the face of Paul Davis on-site, ensuring a professional experience and maintaining high NPS (Net Promoter Scores).
- The "QJOB" Standard: Deliver high-quality craftsmanship while maintaining strict budget and timeline discipline.
Production & Field Management
- Conduct daily job site visits to validate safety, branding, and progress.
- Manage small projects (typically under $5,000) from start to finish.
- Coordinate material deliveries and ensure job sites are "trade-ready" for subcontractors.
- Execute punch-list items and work manually alongside crews when necessary.
- Maintain real-time documentation and compliance notes in RMS daily.
- Participate in squad huddles and production meetings.
- Respond to squad and customer communications promptly (4-hour return call window).
- Handle customer or personnel complaints with professionalism and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Ensure 100% compliance with safety procedures on all sites.
- Inspect workmanship to ensure it meets Paul Davis' professional standards.
- Assist in scoping and estimating project additions (change orders).
- Experience: Previous experience leading field technicians and utilizing software like Xactimate, RMS, or MICA.
- Education: High School Diploma (Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Skills: High-level organization, the ability to prioritize multiple moving parts, and professional communication skills.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, a smartphone, and the ability to learn new project management tools.
- Reliability: A valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, and a positive attitude during challenging situations.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to move about job sites frequently (indoors and outdoors).
- Ability to ascend/descend ladders and lift up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to operate a computer/tablet for administrative tasks.
- Growth: Promotions and advancement are expected as you take on greater responsibility and master the Paul Davis system.
- Compensation: Evaluated annually with an Annual Reward Planner (ARP) based on performance.
