We’re looking for an Assistant Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our team and support our Insurance CSRs in delivering exceptional customer care and operational excellence. The level of this position is based on years of service, education and/or equivalent experience, knowledge level and skill set.

Essential Functions:

  • Customer service duties such as answering phones, greeting walk‑ins, and routing client inquiries.
  • Managing basic policy servicing tasks—data entry, filing, and scanning documents.
  • Preparing paperwork for policy changes, billing, and claim processing.
  • Maintaining accurate records of client interactions in our system.
  • Participating in agency and community events as needed.
  • Providing backup support during peak times or staff absences.
  • Taking initiative on office organization and operational needs.
  • Communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Consistent attendance and physical presence in the Agency is required.
  • All employees are expected to exemplify and follow our core values.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality when reporting to work.
  • Travel for trade and industry schools and seminars as needed.
  • This position may require installation of a Multi‑Factor Authentication (MFA) app on an employee’s personal mobile device. The MFA apps are used to authenticate a user’s identity to the system for security purposes.
  • Adhere to and comply with all applicable, federal, and state laws, regulations, and guidance, including those related to BSA/AML, as well as insurance policies and procedures.

    Education and Experience

    Required
    :

    • High School diploma, GED, Associate’s degree in a related discipline, etc.
    • 1 year of customer service or clerical experience (especially in banking, insurance, or retail).
    • Continuing education to maintain job knowledge and expertise.
    • Attention to detail for account accuracy.

    Preferred
    :

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
