Part Time Front End

Job Overview

Cub Maplewood West is looking for a dedicated part‑time cashier to follow front‑end checkout procedures, maintain positive customer relations, and expedite processing of all orders. The role involves ongoing customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service.

• Assist customers and ensure proper service levels and courtesy from all associates
• Perform product scanning and processing of customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Handle all forms of tender and coupons properly
• Process voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges accurately
• Assist with customer questions or requests
• Maintain and clean the front‑end area

• Operate equipment such as scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine, intercom, calculator, etc.
• Stand for extended periods
• Memorize, read, write, and perform basic math
• Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate service with ongoing customer interaction
• Exercise good judgment; supervise may not always be immediately available
• Understand and follow verbal or written instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing
• Work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  
  Be at least 18 years old

• Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs
• Walking on uneven ground
• Reaching, bending, turning, and repetitive motions

• Evenings until 12:00am
