Job Type: Full‑time

• Providing excellent service to customers and potential customers, including walk‑in, telephone or email.
• Working closely with the Branch Manager to schedule service work.
• Closing sales on inbound and outbound calls and emails.
• Soliciting and collecting payments on past‑due invoices in a timely manner and actively working on customer account balances.
• Managing cash and credit card activities while performing account reconciliations.
• Processing branch mail, including trips to and from the post office (valid driver’s license required).
• Making daily bank deposits.
• Preparing weekly and monthly reports and ensuring due dates are met.
• Monitoring and ordering office supplies and forms per company ordering procedures.
• Promptly and accurately coding vendor invoices for payment.
• Lifting up to 30 pounds to assist customers with cylinder fills.
• Being available for limited travel within the regional area as required.
• Driving customer retention and reinforcing strategies for growth.

• Outstanding customer service skills; enjoy working with people.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong data entry skills to maintain and update customer records and product inventories.
• Enhanced written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn, manage, and navigate web‑based applications used in the propane industry.
• Ability to read, interpret, and understand work orders, shipping papers, product labels, and invoices.
• Ensuring branch compliance with company guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Willingness to explore, critique, and forward ideas for process improvements.
