Specific duties include:

• Reviews all Congressional, White House, Secretary, and other special inquiries received by letter and telephone.
• Responds to all inquiries by telephone or in writing.
• Researches and analyzes inquiries to determine the correct course of action.
• Discusses with management to determine the correct course of action.
• Provides information pertaining to services and benefits available to Veterans.
• Provides training for congressional staffers.
• Provides training to new employees regarding communication with Congressional Offices and special inquiries.
• Provides feedback and training on trends and issues which are presented by the Congressional Staff.
• Develops and processes claims to assist in the completion of the inquiry.

Work Schedule:

Full time, Monday through Friday: 8am - 4:30pm

As determined by the hiring office

Telework:
Yes - This position is eligible for situational (ad hoc) telework only. The selectee is required to report to the official duty station each scheduled workday. Telework may be approved only on a case-by-case basis with supervisory approval. Routine or recurring telework is not authorized for this position.
