About the Opportunity
A growing retail and service organization is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support customers by coordinating service requests and scheduling appointments. This role is a great fit for individuals who enjoy helping customers, managing multiple tasks, and working in a fast-paced team environment.
The Customer Service Representative will serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking service support. This position involves handling inbound calls, troubleshooting basic issues, scheduling service appointments, and documenting customer interactions in a CRM system.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer inbound customer calls regarding service-related inquiries.
- Gather information and identify customer issues through effective questioning and troubleshooting.
- Schedule appointments for field service technicians.
- Accurately document customer interactions and service requests within a CRM system.
- Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude during all customer interactions.
- Handle approximately 50 inbound calls per day during peak season.
- Perform basic administrative and clerical tasks.
- Assist with simple invoicing and data entry using Excel.
- Collaborate with internal team members to ensure customer needs are met efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records and provide timely follow-up when necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional and positive phone presence.
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience.
- Experience in retail, hospitality, restaurant service, scheduling, or call center environments.
- Experience working with CRM systems.
- Administrative or clerical experience.
