Our client, a leading insurance and financial services organization, is looking to hire an Office Associate in St. Paul, MN
.

Pay Rate Range: $20–$23/hour W2, depending on experience

Responsibilities:
  • Accurately enter and process data related to life insurance administrative processes, including policy applications, contract modifications, beneficiary updates, enrollment changes, premium and loan payments, and other insurance-related documentation.
  • Research and resolve policy administration issues and customer inquiries using sound judgment.
  • Follow up with customers or clients to obtain missing information required for processing.
  • Prepare customer-focused correspondence and emails using established templates when appropriate.
  • Make outbound phone calls as needed to obtain information or resolve customer requests.
  • Monitor and respond to team inboxes and process customer and client requests.
  • Follow documented procedures and workflows while navigating multiple systems simultaneously.
  • Ensure all tasks meet department quality, security, and service-level standards.
  • Maintain accurate and timely processing in a high-volume environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and assist with cross-training across other departments as needed.
Requirements:
  • Strong data-entry skills with a focus on speed and accuracy.
  • Strong computer navigation skills and the ability to learn and use multiple systems simultaneously.
  • Basic Microsoft Excel skills, including sorting, filtering, and data review.
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word.
  • Ability to follow documented procedures and workflows.
  • Experience working in a high-volume processing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong customer-service orientation with both internal and external customers.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong prioritization, time-management, and organizational skills.
  • Basic problem-solving and research skills.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Professional, positive, and collaborative attitude.
  • Willingness to suggest process improvements and new ideas.
  • Willingness to help others and participate in cross-training.
  • Flexibility to work overtime during peak-volume periods.
  • Insurance or financial services experience is preferred.
  • Experience processing customer requests, reviewing eligibility, coverage, or enrollment information, or handling customer correspondence is preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are preferred.
