What is a Customer Service Representative II?The Customer Service Representative II is responsible for managing customer interactions, order processing, and issue resolution with a higher level of independence and complexity. This role supports customer accounts, coordinates closely with Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations, and ensures accurate and timely execution of orders. The position plays a key role in maintaining strong customer relationships, resolving issues efficiently, and contributing to overall service performance.
WhatYou Can Expect to Do as a Customer Account Specialist :
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned customer accounts.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Maintain accurate customer data and account details in CRM systems.
- Enter and manage customer orders in the ERP system with high accuracy.
- Monitor order status and proactively communicate any changes, delays, or concerns.
- Coordinate with logistics, production, and sales teams to ensure timely deliveries.
- Provide customers with product information, pricing, availability, and lead times.
- Investigate and resolve customer concerns independently when possible and escate complex issues as needed.
- Ensure customer expectations are met while reflecting IP Corporation’s values and service standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
- Understand customer needs and work internally to ensure those needs are met.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to improve service delivery and process efficiency
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2–4 years of customer service and/or account management experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial distribution.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; extensive experience with ERP and CRM systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and follow-through.
- Ability to handle changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving mindset with a customer-first approach.
- Collaborative attitude with the ability to work across departments.
