BW  is seeking a Senior Architect with the ability to lead the design and delivery of complex projects within healthcare, higher education or science & technology markets. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in technical environments, brings strong leadership to project teams and has experience with both core and shell as well as interior buildouts.

• Lead the architectural design and technical development for complex projects.
• Take a project from concept design through construction administration.
• Lead client meetings, presentations and design reviews. Respond to feedback to ensure the design progresses in accordance with the project schedule. Ensure information is communicated to the full project team.
• Collaborate with BW 's internal team as well as external consultants on all aspects of the building design.
• Guide teams through code analysis, zoning and regulatory approvals. Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Prepare documents and perform Quality Assurance reviews of project documentation at major project milestones.
• Mentor less experienced staff and contribute to a collaborative and productive environment.
• Participate in marketing or other activities as needed.

• Licensed Architect in the State of Minnesota preferred.
• 10+ years of professional experience.
• Proficient in Revit for all phases of design and documentation.
• Strong understanding of planning and design plus technical building requirements.
• Solid knowledge of building codes, accessibility standards, and life-safety requirements.
• Excellent listening, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks and work effectively in a team-based environment.
• Familiarity with sustainability strategies, high-performance building design, or LEED projects.
• Construction administration and field coordination experience.
