Saint Paul, MN | Direct Hire | $70 - 80k | Hybrid
Konik is partnering with a well-established Twin Cities architectural firm seeking an Architectural Project Manager to support a sAteady pipeline of renovation-focused projects. This position centers on technical documentation, coordination, and construction administration for small to mid-sized public-sector projects.
The ideal candidate enjoys being deeply involved in how buildings are assembled, thrives in a production-oriented environment, and takes pride in delivering accurate, well-coordinated construction documents. This firm operates efficiently, maintains strong long-term client relationships, and offers stable work with a meaningful community impact.
Architectural Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead renovation and improvement projects from early site evaluation through construction administration
- Produce and coordinate construction documents primarily in AutoCAD
- Conduct field surveys and perform regional site visits (typically 1-2 times per month, with occasional overnight travel)
- Review applicable codes and coordinate with local authorities to ensure compliance
- Administer construction phase services including submittal review, site observation, and contractor coordination
- Serve as primary point of contact for clients during project execution
- Contribute to or coordinate project specifications as needed
- Associate degree in Architecture or Architectural Technology required;
Bachelor's degree preferred - 5+ years of professional architectural experience (more extensive experience welcomed)
- Strong emphasis on technical production and documentation rather than conceptual design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD required;
Revit familiarity beneficial but not mandatory - Experience with renovation or public-sector projects preferred
- Working knowledge of specification writing is a plus
- Organized, detail-driven, and comfortable managing multiple active assignments
- Willingness to travel within Minnesota for site visits and project coordination
