Integrated Construction Technician

Summary

Mortenson is seeking an Integrated Construction Technician to support the Virtual Design Construction (VDC) team. Responsibilities include the preparation and maintenance of Building Information Models (BIM) throughout the construction process.

• Produce 3D models
• Incorporate changes into models during preconstruction and construction
• Update information to project locations
• Assist VDC team with project coordination models
• Work with VDC team on models during preconstruction and construction
• Effectively work and build relationships with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
• All other duties as assigned

• Associate degree or minimum of two years producing electronic documents for construction
• High competency with Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Synchro 4D, Trimble Sketch Up, and Bluebeam Revu
• Proficiency with Autodesk BIM 360 Field and Glue, 3DS Max, Civil 3D, Point Layout, Faro Scene, Google Earth Pro, and Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)
• Familiarity with game engine technologies (Unity, Unreal, Lumion 3D), Parametric Analysis solutions (Dynamo, Grasshopper, Solibri), basic key frame animation, 2D/3D rendering, 2D/3D postproduction preferred
• Experience working with deadlines
• Entry level technical knowledge of construction
• Solid organization skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong graphic design skills
• Competency with advanced software in 2D and 3D
• Experience with Autodesk Architectural Desktop (ADT), Autodesk Building Systems (ABS), Revit, and/or Graphisoft Constructor
• Active listening and effective communication skills, open to diverse input and feedback

The base pay range for this role is $50,000 - $67,600
. (Actual range is higher for certain office locations:
Denver, CO;
Chicago, IL (+5%);
Seattle, WA (+10%);
Portland, OR (+10%);
Washington, D.C. (+12.5%).)

Base pay is positioned within the range based on knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
