Architect​/Architectural Designer

The Adkins Association inc., is a results-driven firm and is seeking a talented, motivated, and technically skilled individual to join our team. The Adkins Association inc., is currently seeking an Architect / Architectural Designer to be involved in the production and development of architectural plans and construction documents as part of a larger project team through all phases of design for educational, government, and commercial facilities.

The Architect / Architectural Designer will be responsible for coordination of drawings with engineering disciplines, client contact during the design phases, field investigation reports and measurements, creation of construction documents, and construction administration tasks including job site visits.

• Minimum five (5) years of post education experience in building planning, drawing standards, design, and construction management.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, capable of producing detailed construction drawings and documents.
• Working knowledge of relevant building and construction laws, codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical report preparation.
• Ability to conduct field investigations, access roofs safely, and perform observations in varying conditions.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.
• Advanced computer skills (Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite).
• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
