Overview
Fairview Urgent Care Centers provide convenient medical care weekdays, evenings and weekends. Advance Practice Providers working in urgent care provide a broad spectrum of non-emergent care for minor illness and injury. All hospital admissions are referred to the physician on-call for these practices. Moonlighters are needed for a variety of shifts at M Health Fairview urgent care centers and at other M Health Fairview clinics in the metro area.
Hours vary by site. Volume fluctuates seasonally.

Provide non-emergent care for minor illness and injury as part of urgent care services. See pediatric and adult patients as needed. Moonlighters work across M Health Fairview urgent care centers and clinics with hours varying by site.
Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- BC/BE through NCCPA
- Licensed or ability to obtain a PA license with prescriptive authority through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota
- Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges (if required)
- Must be comfortable seeing pediatric and adult patients
- At least 1–2 years urgent care or clinic experience as an APP. Internal, Fairview employed providers only at this time
- Skills required – suturing, splinting, I and D

CompensationThis position provides one flat hourly rate, with regular reviews to ensure competitiveness with the market.
