Position Summary:

The Adjunct Faculty, Department of Music and Theatre position is a part-time, in-person position, responsible to provide excellence in teaching through the fulfillment of the missions and strategic goals of the Department of Music & Theatre.

Currently hiring for: organ; musical theatre voice

This is an onsite position in Minnesota.

Key Responsibilities:

Essential job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Teach applied lessons for music majors, minors, and non-majors or other courses as assigned according to department need and area of expertise.
• Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Master’s degree or equivalent professional credentials in performing/recording and teaching.
• Demonstrated success in performance.
• Maintain a growing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ, reflect His character in all interactions, and faithfully uphold and embrace Northwestern’s mission, Doctrinal Statement and Declaration of Christian Community.

Nice to have:

• College or pre-college teaching experience.
