Starting Salary: $40,200 - $67,200, plus a sign-on stipend of $2,000 prorated based on start date. Additional lanes may be applied based on the position.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and energetic Special Education Center-based Program Coordinator to join our growing school. This Special Education Center-based Program Coordinator will be responsible for ongoing planning, support, and monitoring of the special education setting III programs throughout the district. This is accomplished through collaboration with building administration, the special education manager, special education coordinators, building staff, and other stakeholders.
The setting III coordinator will be responsible for supporting, facilitating and guiding effective, compliant special education services.
HCPA is a Title I Charter School that serves students through a school-wide plan for instruction that is focused on the needs of at-risk students. The instructional coach plays an essential role in collaborating with administration, grade level leads, teachers, other coaches, and school personnel to promote a high-quality, rigorous, positive, and student-focused atmosphere and growth-oriented culture tructional coaches work alongside teachers and administration actively to ensure that HCPA implements best practices and high-quality instruction to increase student engagement, improve academic achievement, and to close the achievement gap.
The ideal candidate will have… A MA in education related field, Minnesota Teaching Licensure, and knowledge and understanding of the rigor, depth, and complexity of the Minnesota state content standards/Common Core standards across grade levels. They also bring strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work effectively with students, parents, district staff and community members from diverse backgrounds, as well as excellent organizational and time management skills;
ability to multi-task, and knowledge of the programs, functions, and procedures of a school setting.

- At least 3 years of successful experience in a licensed special education role.
- Knowledge of laws, rules, statutes and guidelines related to special education programming and requirements.
- Knowledge of due process requirements, rules, regulations and implications for special services.
- Knowledge of medical assistance requirements, eligibility requirements and service requirements.
- Instructional strategies, concepts, principles, methods, best practices and trends dealing with issues of child development, special education and instructional methods.
