Daily Work specializes in assisting immigrants and those facing employment barriers using a holistic, relationship-based, strengths-focused approach. Through one-to-one case management services, we partner with job seekers to achieve financial stability through resource connections, job attainment, and retention, and supporting their progress to better employment and skills for as long as needed. We strive to go beyond what is comfortable, customary, or established to meet people where they are and help them access what they need to thrive.
Compensation & Benefits: $30-$35 per hour plus additional compensation for the ability to speak Amharic, Oromo, Dari, Pashto, Arabic, or Spanish.
Working Hours: 10-15 hours per week, preferably onsite. Contract and hybrid options are possible for the right candidate. This position is located in St. Paul, MN. The Green line is within one block.

Position SummaryThe Field Education & Training Manager provides guidance, support, and supervision to approximately 12 interns each year, most of whom are pursuing bachelor’s or master’s degrees in social work. This role is a key partner in delivering effective services for job seekers by supporting students, staff, and volunteers as they build the skills and knowledge needed for their work. We’re looking for someone who assumes positive intent, approaches every interaction with kindness and curiosity, and brings a proactive, can‑do spirit that strengthens our team and supports our mission.
Responsibilities may be adapted based on the strengths, experience, and interests of the selected candidate.
- Provide individual & group supervision to bachelor’s- and master’s-level social work interns and other students as needed.
- Plan, facilitate, and document required supervision sessions and meetings with field liaisons; establish consistent schedules each semester.
- Ensure supervision hours and documentation meet licensing and university requirements.
- Provide ongoing feedback, support, and evaluation of student learning and professional development.
- Support students in developing learning goals and assignments aligned with field education agreements and Daily Work’s work.
- Complete required field education documentation in accordance with university guidelines.
- Use interactive, experiential methods to support learning of social work competencies, ethics, and practice models.
- Provide guidance to staff and volunteers and support additional program needs as time allows.
- Prepare brief, monthly reports for the Daily Work board.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding for interns and case managers, including account setup and evaluations.
- Serve as a thought partner in identifying and addressing organizational challenges.
- Participate in key internal meetings (e.g., staff, team, and check‑ins).
- Foster an inclusive, culturally responsive, and respectful workplace and contribute to a positive team culture.
- Demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, and accountability in all interactions.
- Maintain required licensure.
Education and Experience
- Qualified candidates will possess an MSW, current LGSW, LISW, or LICSW licensure in Minnesota, and at least two years of post‑graduate practice experience, and completion of the 30‑hour supervision training required by the Board of Social Work, or the willingness to complete this course immediately upon hire.
