About the RoleOur enrollment counselors serve as key guides and advocates for prospective graduate students discerning advanced study at Bethel University. Through intentional outreach and sustained relationship-building, the Enrollment Counselor helps prospective students navigate the admissions process from initial inquiry through enrollment. This position conducts one-on-one conversations with applicants, attends recruitment events, and serves as a trusted point of contact as students evaluate how Bethel’s Christ-centered graduate programs align with their professional goals, calling, and vocation.
The Enrollment Counselor works in close partnership with academic departments, faculty, and internal stakeholders to understand program-specific requirements, timelines, and admissions criteria—ensuring prospective students receive accurate guidance and a high-touch, supportive experience. By bridging the needs of students and academic programs, this role contributes to a thoughtful, efficient admissions process that reflects Bethel’s commitment to excellence, care, and whole-person formation.
What You'll DoRecruitment – 50%- Reach out to and develop relationships with new and prospective students.
- Hold one on one meetings with each prospective student.
- Attend on and off campus recruitment events.
- Facilitate the application process for students in assigned programs.
- Partner with departments to improve admissions process and understand program requirements.
- Serve as the liaison between prospective students and the departments.
- Attend the department meetings of assigned departments.
- Attend and contribute to professional development opportunities.
