Salary Range/Hourly Rate: $25/hour or contract rate

Dates of ESY: June 10, 2026 (Set Up) and June 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 29, 30 for (ESY Programming)

Work Days/Times: Proposed ESY Programming days:
Mon-Fri per the ESY calendar;
Proposed times:
Elementary 8:50 am-12:35 pm and/or Secondary 7:20 am-11:05 am (Dates, times and location may change based on student and/or District needs)

Student Level: All Levels (EC and/or Elementary at Otter Lake Elem and/or Secondary at Transition Education Center) based on needs

The White Bear Lake Area Schools is currently seeking nurse paraprofessional(s) to work in our Extended School Year (ESY) program. Performs intermediate skilled human support work providing nursing care to students with special health needs, including administration of medication and specialized health care procedures as well as educational support services in the classroom setting, and related work as apparent or assigned.

Work is performed under the moderate supervision of ESY teachers, the Licensed School Nurse and Student Support Services Administrators.

Associates/Technical degree with coursework in LPN or RN nursing degree required, or related field and moderate experience working in a medical or health office that interacts with school aged children and adolescents, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree preferred.
