Travel School Registered Nurse | Saint Paul, Minnesota

A travel Registered Nurse (RN) with school nursing experience is needed to provide on-site nursing support in an educational setting in Saint Paul, MN. This role focuses primarily on special education students while also assisting with general education needs during part of the week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care to approximately 36 special education students, with the potential for increased enrollment over time.
• Administer medications, inhalers, and basic first aid such as Band-Aids throughout the school day.
• Provide on-site nursing support two days per week to assist with general education student health files.
• Conduct hearing and vision screenings for all special education students, select odd grades, and any students involved in child find services.
• Collaborate with school staff to maintain accurate health records and promote student wellness.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with experience in school nursing preferred.
• Knowledge of special education health needs and general pediatric care.
• Comfortable working on-site with a flexible schedule focused around school days.
• Ability to manage routine medication administration and basic first aid independently.
• Strong organizational skills for conducting health screenings and maintaining health documentation.
• Experience supporting both special education and general education student populations is a plus.
