Description of CollegeThe College of Business and Management (CBM), located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is a catalyst for positive change and a source of lifelong learning where learners become ethical leaders. The college serves approximately 2,300 students with 33 tenured/tenure-track faculty, 129 adjunct faculty, and multiple academic support staff. Programs are accredited by the AACSB. Classes are offered in person, online, hybrid, and HyFlex formats across the Twin Cities to accommodate diverse schedules.
ResponsibilitiesAdjunct faculty are expected to:
Demonstrate a commitment to serving a diverse student body by delivering a student-centered education and using approaches that support equitable outcomes for all students.
Provide excellent learning environments through in-person, online, and/or hybrid course modalities.
All faculty teaching undergraduate courses must meet at least one of the following minimum qualifications:
A Master’s degree, or terminal degree (e.g., Ph.D., Ed.D., M.F.A., D.N.P., D.B.A.) in the discipline, subfield, or related interdisciplinary field in which they teach.
A J.D. degree with expertise in the discipline, subfield, or related interdisciplinary field in which they teach.
A Master’s degree, terminal degree (e.g., Ph.D., Ed.D., M.F.A., D.N.P.) or J.D. with expertise in a different discipline or subfield with at least 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline, subfield, or related field.
A Master’s degree, terminal degree (e.g., Ph.D., Ed.D., M.F.A., D.N.P.) or J.D. with expertise in a different discipline or subfield and at least 2 years of work experience directly related to the discipline, subfield, or related field.
A Bachelor’s degree in the discipline, subfield, or related interdisciplinary field and at least 18 graduate semester hours or equivalent professional certification in the discipline, subfield, or related field.
A Bachelor’s degree in the discipline, subfield, or related field and at least 2 years of work experience directly related to the discipline, subfield, or related field (or 1 year plus specialized certification, or equivalent combination).
All faculty teaching graduate-level courses must meet at least one of the following minimum qualifications: (list continues as appropriate for graduate level qualifications).
A terminal degree in the discipline or related field.

Salary: $1,888 per credit.
