What You’ll Do:- Provide hands‑on support to teachers and enhance daily classroom activities
- Assist students individually or in small groups, fostering academic growth
- Help maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Reinforce behavioral expectations and classroom routines
- Follow teacher-prepared lesson plans and instructions
- Offer IEP‑related or specialized support to students with special needs
- Supervise students during transitions, meals, and non‑instructional times
- Adapt quickly to different grades, staff teams, and student needs
- High school diploma or GED required (associate’s degree or higher is a plus)
- Satisfactory background check as per Minnesota state protocols
- Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
- Adaptability and independence in new classroom environments
- Dependability in accepting and fulfilling assigned shifts
- Patience, empathy, and genuine interest in supporting children
- Experience in school or child‑centered roles preferred
- Familiarity with special education or classroom management is a bonus
- CPR/First Aid certification highly valued (or willingness to obtain)
- True schedule flexibility—accept shifts that fit your availability
