Position Overview:
North High School is seeking a dynamic and student-centered Assistant Girls Volleyball Coach to assist the head coach in leading our program with an education-based and transformational coaching philosophy. The ideal candidate will foster a positive, inclusive team culture that promotes growth, sportsmanship, and excellence both on and off the court.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist in organizing and overseeing the Girls Volleyball program, including practices, games, and team-building activities Promote a safe, supportive, and positive environment for all student-athletes Communicate effectively with players, parents/guardians, and coaching staff Model integrity, accountability, and professionalism consistent with the mission and values of North High School
Required Qualifications:
Experience in girls' volleyball, either as a competitive player or coach Demonstrated experience working with high school-aged students Availability for after-school practices, weekday games, and occasional Saturday events Knowledge of MSHSL policies, volleyball strategy, skill development, and training techniques Strong leadership, organizational skills, interpersonal, and communication skills Understands education-based athletics
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous high school coaching experience Competitive playing experience at the high school and/or collegiate level Application & Contact Information:
