Supersitter Babysitting Clinic Instructor
The Super Sitter Babysitting Clinic is offered to both beginning and experienced baby sitters. The instructor is expected to teach the basics of child care, how to handle an emergency or illness, first aid, sitter safety, crafts, kid proofing, toys, nutrition and more in order to prepare participants for babysitting work. An instructor manual is provided outlining the basic course content.
Presenting the material in a way that will engage the participants is important. We offer competitive wages and an enjoyable work environment.
- Teach the skills needed for safe care of infants and children.
- Educate and motivate participants.
- Start and end classes on time.
- Experience working with children preferred.
- Previous babysitting experience preferred.
- CPR and basic first aid certifications preferred.
- Must be at least 16 years old
Hours:
Weekends—Flexible schedule. Classes run 4 hours (weekday hours available during the summer) Wage: $13.25 – $17.00 per hour depending on experience Deadline:

None. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Duties of the job are primarily an indoor classroom setting. Employee is frequently required to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Duties may involve bending at the waist, kneeling, or crouching to assist students as needed. Employees must have the visual ability to read a variety of materials and effectively monitor student activities, as well as the ability to hear and speak for extended periods to exchange information.
The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
