The FSoS Title IV-E Child Welfare Scholar Program Coordinator will be responsible for all aspects of the FSoS Title IV-E Scholars Program, including program management, program evaluation, assessment and data tracking, and fieldwork site development.
Location and Work environment:A hybrid position that requires occasional evening work and travel. A valid driver's license or reliable transportation is required.
This position is anticipated to be a one-year appointment, with continuation dependent on departmental need, available funding, and continuation of the program.
Pay Range:$52,000 to $67,000 annually.
Your primary responsibilities will include:- Program Management (50%): Lead and manage the Title IV-E Child Scholars Program within the Family Social Science Department, overseeing student recruitment, advising, curriculum development, field education, mentorship, alumni engagement, budget management, and program compliance. Collaborate with faculty, staff, and child welfare partners to support student success, strengthen workforce development, and ensure the program's long-term growth and sustainability.
- Program Evaluation, Assessment, and Data Tracking (25%): Lead program evaluation and data management efforts by tracking student and graduate outcomes, supporting Title IV-E reporting requirements, and managing stipend repayment processes. Develop and implement continuous quality improvement initiatives, including surveys, focus groups, and program assessment activities to enhance scholar success and program effectiveness.
- Fieldwork Site Development (25%): Develop and maintain partnerships with public and tribal child welfare organizations to support Title IV-E field placements. Identify and cultivate fieldwork sites, create meaningful experiential learning opportunities for scholars, and collaborate with the fieldwork team to enhance field placement resources and systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Family Science, Human Development, or a related field, plus at least five (5) years of related professional experience; OR
- Master's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Student Affairs, Psychology, Family Science, Human Development, or a related field, plus at least three (3) years of related professional experience.
- Experience working in Child Welfare
- Knowledge of the Child Welfare System in Minnesota
- Competency using the Google platform (including Google Forms), Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Qualtrics.
