Position: 622 Credit Recovery Teacher – Tartan High School

Work Schedule:

Monday – Thursday, 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm

• Students in grades 9–12 needing to recover credits to graduate with same‑age peers.

• Tier 3 or Tier 4 Teaching License for grades 9–12
• Will work with the district to obtain a cross‑curricular license covering all core curriculum areas

• Provide instruction in the core curriculum areas
• Provide student supervision and classroom management for a variety of students and grade levels
• Make appropriate use of instructional resources and technologies
• Implement the goals and objectives of the district and the school (or program) for which employed
• Follow the prescribed course of study, except as authorized in the curriculum outlines or by principals or other official rules and regulations
• Evaluate student performance according to the system used by the school and/or district; promote student achievement; maintain required student records; make related reports to the principal as prescribed or authorized by the superintendent
• Maintain contact and communications with parents of students and work with them in the development of each student
• Perform classroom management duties; enforce district rules governing the conduct of students; take appropriate disciplinary action with students who do not follow district rules
