Early Childhood Teaching Assistant
Teaching Assistant 3.25 hrs/day - 5 days a week; 8:30 am to 11:45 am Begins:
September 14, 2026 Pay rate: $19.81-$22.25/hour (2025-26 rates) - Category B Per MSEA Collective Bargaining Unit Agreement

QualificationsHigh school graduate or GED. Pre-school or child care experience. Current First Aid and CPR certification. Initiative to help out where needed.
Reports ToAssistant Director of Early Learning
Job GoalsTo assist in providing a well-organized, smooth functioning Early Learning Program.
Performance ResponsibilitiesSupport and monitor students in educational settings. Provide teacher support; objective observation, data keeping, and prepare and organize materials. Assist in implementing successful student programs as designed by education staff. Participate in program trainings provided. Demonstrate sensitivity to diversity in cultural heritage, lifestyles, and value systems among students and families. Performs other duties as assigned by the building principal and/or supervising teacher, specific to early childhood programming.
Ability to work outside in all weather. Other job duties as assigned.
