Adjunct Professors – Management Information Systems
Metro State University is seeking to hire adjunct professors of Management Information Systems. The position is part-time and exempt under FLSA. The role will involve teaching undergraduate courses in the discipline and potentially graduate courses when qualified.
Responsibilities- Demonstrate a commitment to serving a diverse student body by delivering a student‑centered education and using approaches that support equitable outcomes for all students.
- Provide excellent learning environments through in‑person, online, and/or hybrid course modalities.
- A Master’s degree, or terminal degree (e.g., Ph.D., Ed.D., M.F.A., D.N.P., D.B.A.) in a discipline related to the field in which they teach.
- A J.D. degree with expertise in the discipline or related field in which they teach.
- A Master’s degree, terminal degree, or J.D. with expertise in a different discipline, plus at least 18 semester hour credits of graduate coursework in the discipline in which they teach.
- A Master’s degree, terminal degree, or J.D. with expertise in a different discipline, plus at least 2 years of work experience directly related to the discipline in which they teach.
- A Bachelor’s degree in the discipline, plus at least 18 semester hour credits of graduate coursework or equivalent professional certification in the discipline.
- A Bachelor’s degree, plus at least 2 years of work experience directly related to the discipline or 1 year of work experience and discipline‑specific certification.
- A terminal degree (e.g., Ph.D., Ed.D., M.F.A., D.N.P., D.B.A.) in the discipline in which they teach.
- A J.D. degree with expertise in the discipline in which they teach.
- A Master’s degree in the discipline, plus at least 18 semester hour credits of terminal‑degree graduate coursework in the discipline.
- A Master’s degree in the discipline, plus at least 2 years of work experience directly related to the discipline.
Salary: $1,888 per credit.
