With dedicated time provided during the school day for IEPs and Due Process work, and a manageable max caseload of 15 students, youll be supported to provide your best work.
Qualifications & Requirements- Active MN Special Education (SPED) license Tier 3 or 4
- Strong collaboration and classroom management skills
- Experience managing IEPs and due process
- Ability to supervise paraprofessionals
- For Elementary SPED:
Prior work with grades 14, experience with high-needs students - For High School SPED:
Experience with academic and behavioral support, resource/push-in services
- Deliver direct and indirect SPED services (according to specific opening)
- Supervise and support paraprofessionals
- Develop, manage, and implement IEPs with reliability and accuracy
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including onsite SPED Coordinator, Due Process Specialist, and SPED Coach
- Provide case management with a maximum of 15 students
