Job Description

Metro State University is seeking to hire adjunct professors of Management Information Systems.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate a commitment to serving a diverse student body by delivering student‑centered education and using approaches that support equitable outcomes for all students.
  • Provide excellent learning environments through in‑person, online, and/or hybrid course modalities.
Minimum Qualifications

All faculty teaching undergraduate courses must meet one of the following minimum qualifications:

  • A master’s degree, or terminal degree (e.g., Ph.D., Ed.D., M.F.A., D.N.P., D.B.A.) in the discipline, subfield, or related interdisciplinary field in which they teach.
  • A J.D. degree with expertise in the discipline, subfield, or related interdisciplinary field in which they teach.
  • A master’s degree, terminal degree, or J.D. with at least 18 semester hour credits of graduate coursework in the discipline in which they teach.
  • A master’s degree or terminal degree with at least 2 years of work experience directly related to the discipline in which they teach.
  • A bachelor’s degree (e.g., B.A., B.S.) in the discipline with at least 18 semester hour credits of graduate coursework or equivalent professional certification.
  • A bachelor’s degree in the discipline with at least 2 years of work experience or 1 year of work experience and a discipline‑specific certification.

All faculty teaching graduate level courses must meet one of the following minimum qualifications:

  • A terminal degree (e.g., Ph.D., Ed.D., M.F.A., D.N.P., D.B.A.) in the discipline in which they teach.
  • A J.D. degree with expertise in the discipline in which they teach.
  • A master’s degree in the discipline with at least 18 semester hour credits of terminal‑degree graduate coursework in the discipline.
  • A master’s degree in the discipline with at least 2 years of work experience directly related to the discipline.
Salary

$1,888 per credit.
