Overview
Maternity of Mary-St. Andrew Catholic School (MMSA) is seeking a joy-filled, and faith-filled grade five teacher to join our wonderful staff for the 2026-27 academic year.
Responsibilities- Assisting in ensuring a joyful, safe and enriching classroom environment
- Identifying and implementing learning strategies to help students grow academically, socially, physically, and spiritually.
- Effectively supervising and working directly with students.
- Evaluating student performance and working with other teaching staff to best support student growth.
- Preparing lesson plans.
- Communicating effectively with students, parents, co-workers, and supervisors
- Working positively and supportively with co-workers and the principal in maintaining a safe, clean, functional, and energetic classroom.
- Attending meetings/special initiatives and professional development required by the school, parish, and/or Archdiocese.
- Ensuring confidentiality of students, families and school information.
- Supporting policies within MMSA employee handbook.
- Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the principal.
