Lyndale Neighborhood Association (LNA) is a place-based nonprofit that strives to empower neighbors to assume leadership roles in their own community while also striving to diversify that leadership to allow for a better mixing and sharing of ideas and cultures. We are a community-led organization, established in 1992. Our main programs include community garden sites, business façade revitalization grants, the LNA Education Program, which provides high-quality in-person adult English language and computer basics instruction, as well as several community engagement events and committees.

Member Duties :
The CTEP service member at LNA will teach digital literacy skills to adults, both English Language Learners and native English speakers. They will serve students seeking to improve their digital literacy skills in order to obtain an Adult Diploma or GED, to expand their career prospects, or to navigate a world that is becoming increasingly dependent on technology. CTEP duties will include providing virtual and in-person instruction, to individuals or in groups, as well as holding technology help sessions for learners.
The CTEP service member will collaborate with LNA's ESL teachers to integrate technology into their classes and curriculum. The CTEP member will also be responsible for gathering feedback on LNA's English Learner Digital Essential Skills curriculum and update as needed. If applicable, the CTEP service member may provide digital literacy skills in Spanish and/or Somali as part of their duties.
