Position SummaryApplicants with the ability to acquire a Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3, or Tier 4 Technology Education Construction Careers license should consider applying for the position. Applicants should be able to teach woods and construction courses. Experience with PLTW is preferred, but not required. A successful candidate has the opportunity to work in an new and innovative high school building while supporting a broad spectrum of school students and ensuring that all students can answer "yes" to the following questions:
Do I belong here? Is this meaningful? Can I do this?
Performs difficult professional work providing a broad range of teaching services or specific learning program, assisting students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed as a foundation for future learning in accordance with each student's ability, using a variety of teaching and learning methods at various levels to a targeted audience, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Principal.
Occasional oversight is exercised over Paraprofessional or Volunteer.
Bachelor's degree in teaching, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special Requirements- Tier 1, 2, 3, or 4 Minnesota Educator License Required.
- Construction Careers CTE License preferred
