Kindergarten Long-Term Substitute Teacher

Saint Joseph Catholic School in West St. Paul is seeking an outstanding educator to serve as a long-term substitute kindergarten teacher during a maternity leave anticipated from November 2026 through March 2027. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep commitment to the Catholic faith and the mission of Catholic education, along with the skills and presence needed to effectively teach, guide, and form young learners in a kindergarten classroom.

For the right candidate, this opportunity could be expanded into a full-time position for the 2026-27 school year. In addition to serving as the long-term kindergarten substitute, a full-time role could include instructional assistant support in classrooms, individual or small-group student support, recess, lunch, arrival and dismissal supervision, substitute coverage, and other instructional or supervisory responsibilities based upon the candidate’s strengths and the needs of the school.
