Special Education Teacher
Roseville Area Schools has a vacancy for a Special Education Teacher at Roseville Area High School. The licensed Special Education Teacher develops and provides specialized instruction aligned to the state standards to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities; evaluates and assesses student progress against instructional objectives; follows state-mandated due process procedures and functions as IEP Manager to assigned students;
collaborates with general education staff including co-teaching assignment; communicates regularly with parents/guardians; schedules students and paraprofessionals; and supervises paraprofessionals. This position includes case management of federal setting I and II students with varying disabilities (EBD, SLD, OHD) as well as teaching replacement special education Geometry and Math for Life courses. This is a full-time 1.0 FTE position that starts immediately.
Qualifications:
A MN Teaching License in Special Education is required, experience teaching secondary math is preferred. Compensation:
Minimum full year, full time starting salary is $53,085 (see attached matrix), plus a generous benefits package.
