Special Education Teacher - Saint Paul, MN

• Current, active Minnesota teaching license in Special Education (required)
• Direct experience in a school-based special education setting
• Understanding of individualized instruction, IEP writing, and progress monitoring
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility to support various locations (site preferences will be considered and discussed during the placement process)
• Positive record of employment with area districts (candidates with prior district experience will be reviewed for eligibility)

• Provide specialized instruction to students with varying exceptionalities
• Develop, implement, and document Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service staff, and families
• Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance with both state and district guidelines
• Foster a supportive learning environment that encourages student engagement and growth
