We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Lead Preschool Teacher to join our dynamic early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children, creating engaging learning experiences, and fostering a positive and inclusive As a Lead Preschool Teacher, you will play a key role in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum, building meaningful relationships with children and families, and supporting the growth and development of each child in your care.
Essential Functions:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive and engaging curriculum that promotes the physical, cognitive, social and emotional development of preschool age children.
• Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities, lessons, and experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking skills.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where children feel valued, respected, and safe to explore and learn.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, fostering open communication and collaboration.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of children’s progress and development and use data to inform instructional practices and individualized support plans.
• Ensure compliance with all state licensing regulations and maintain a safe and healthy classroom environment at all times.
• Provide guidance and support to assistant teachers and classroom aides, fostering a collaborative and team-oriented approach to teaching and learning.
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding their child’s progress, achievement, and any concerns or challenges.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and ongoing training to enhance teaching skills and stay current on best practices in early childhood education.
• Serve as a positive role model for children and colleagues, demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and a commitment to early childhood education. Benefits:

Education and experience:
• Associates or Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required
• Previous experience working with preschool aged children in a licensed childcare or early education setting preferred
• Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, families, and colleagues
• Creative, energetic, and adaptable teaching style, with a passion for inspiring young learners
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Ability to pass a background check and comply with state likening
Schedule:
• Be flexible in working an 8-hour shift between the hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm
• No nights or weekends Physical Requirement:
• Frequent standing for long periods of time
• Be able to lift at least 50 pounds
• Reliable transportation PI
