Key
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching license required;
Tier 3 or 4 license highly preferred - Demonstrated experience working with students on the autism spectrum
- Ability to differentiate instruction and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) effectively
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Dedication to cultivating an inclusive, supportive classroom community
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement tailored lesson plans and IEPs for students with diverse needs
- Employ evidence-based instructional strategies focused on students with autism
- Foster a positive, respectful classroom environment that encourages student engagement and growth
- Collect data and assess student progress to inform instructional planning
- Collaborate closely with fellow educators, families, and support staff to support student success
