The Field Specialist, under the direction of the Operations Manager & Director of Operations, has the primary job function to support the safe and efficient delivery of API 510/570/653 inspections of above ground storage tanks and pressure vessels.

As a Field Specialist II, you will be responsible for:

• Maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring the use of proper safety procedures and equipment.
• Assisting in the successful completion of all field projects as directed.
• Responsible for accurate communications with all crew members.
• Must be able to carry out directions of the crew Foreman.
• Maintaining punctuality and performing all duties professionally.
• Performing NDE tasks as required.
• Performing all work and travel safely.

To be successful in this role you will require:

• Have 2-4 years of industry experience.
• Have experience with a field service company (required).
• Have the ability to maintain good working relationships with co‑workers, management, vendors and customers.
• Must be willing to travel when needed (approximately 75% travel), with little notice including overnight and by air.
• Have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain a passport, TWIC card (homeland security).
• Have the ability to pass background and drug testing.
• Must be comfortable with heights and tight spaces.
• Must have knowledge or be certified to perform MT, VT, MFL, PT and other NDE methods as required.

• May include occasional exposure to a shop environment involving lifting of material and/or products up to 50 pounds.
• Work frequently involves working from a kneeling/all‑fours position.
• Work involves working in confined spaces.
• Work is conducted in an outdoor setting and in all weather.
• Must have adequate vision/corrective eyewear and be able to distinguish colors.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders frequently and repetitively.
• Must be available by phone during nonstandard working hours.
• Must be able to pass a Pulmonary Fit Test if required.
• Includes a heavy travel schedule, estimated at 75%.

• Working Monday‑Friday, 50‑60 hrs/week. Some weekends required to work.
