MSA has an opportunity for a Senior Engineering Technician Civil to join our St. Paul, MN team. This position will assist a variety of municipal construction projects in the greater Twin Cities area, with a primary focus on field work, for the majority of the year as weather permits.

Responsibilities
  • Construction inspection on a variety of projects
  • Quantity verification and Contractor communication
  • Reviewing and understanding design plans
  • Computations, reduction of field notes, filing and retrieving prints, and running prints
  • Construction Staking
  • Wastewater, street, sewer, and water utility design in Civil 3D
  • Completing redline revisions to plans
Qualifications
  • An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in surveying, civil engineering technology, or related degree preferred
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • A valid driver’s license is required
  • 5+ years of prior experience with construction of municipal infrastructure projects required
  • Attention to detail and strong communication skills
  • This position requires you to have authorization to work in the United States for any employer. We will not provide sponsorship for this position.
Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $29.47 to $47.15 per hour, commensurate with experience. Higher compensation within this range will be paid to candidates with significant experience and exceptional qualifications.
