Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of electrical systems for various building projects including commercial, healthcare, educational, and industrial facilities.
- Perform electrical load calculations, power distribution design, lighting layout, and low-voltage systems integration.
- Review and coordinate electrical designs with other disciplines to ensure cohesive, code-compliant project delivery.
- Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions, support construction administration, and resolve field issues.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare technical specifications, perform quality control reviews, and ensure deliverables meet project requirements and industry standards.
Requirements:
- Licensed (PE) Electrical Engineer.
- 10+ years of experience in electrical design.
- Knowledge of power, lighting, and low voltage systems for commercial buildings.
- Experience coordinating with cross-disciplinary teams including architects, structural engineers, and contractors.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality, code-compliant design solutions.
