Overview
Electrical Engineer responsible for board-level testing and sustaining engineering support for Class II/III medical devices.

12 month contract
$68-$78/hour W2
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
- 5+ years of electrical engineering experience in product development environments
- Medical device industry experience (Class II/III)
- Familiarity with IEC 60601-1 and IEC 60601-1-2 requirements and testing
- Board-level testing experience
- Experience supporting sustaining engineering activities
- Experience creating and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Experience with test equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers
- Experience using manual tools such as soldering irons, crimpers, and related hand tools
- Experience troubleshooting and reworking PCBAs (component-level debug, solder rework)
- Experience supporting compliance/verification testing in regulated environments
- Experience maintaining engineering documentation for sustaining changes (ECOs/ECNs, drawings, specs)
- Perform board-level testing, troubleshooting, and verification activities using electronic test equipment
- Support sustaining engineering for released Class II/III medical devices, including design updates and issue resolution
- Support IEC 60601-1 and IEC 60601-1-2 related testing activities and documentation as required
- Create, update, and maintain BOMs and associated technical documentation
- Use soldering and crimping tools to support rework, prototype modifications, and test fixture connections
- Investigate product issues and support root-cause analysis through bench testing and data capture
