We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail‑oriented Submittals Manager to join our project management team. The Submittals Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating all submittal documentation required for our custom woodwork projects. This includes gathering, reviewing, preparing, tracking, and submitting product data, shop drawings, samples, and mock‑ups to ensure full compliance with project specifications, schedules, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review project specifications and contract documents to identify required submittals.
  • Coordinate with project managers, drafters, and engineers to compile accurate and complete submittal packages.
  • Prepare and submit shop drawings, material samples, finish selections, and other required documents for architect/GC/client approval.
  • Maintain submittal logs and tracking systems to ensure timely responses and approvals.
  • Communicate with vendors and internal departments to gather technical data and support materials.
  • Respond to submittal‑related comments and revisions, ensuring timely resubmissions as needed.
  • Ensure all approved submittals are properly documented and distributed to production and field teams.
  • Work closely with QC, drafting, engineering, and operations to ensure alignment with approved submittals throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in submittal coordination or project documentation within the construction or millwork industry.
  • Strong understanding of architectural woodwork details, materials, and construction processes.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with submittal software and tracking tools (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Excel, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree or certification in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
  • Familiarity with AWI Standards and LEED documentation is a plus
