Actalent is hiring for a Manufacturing Engineer II for an international medical device company in the St. Paul area!
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer II to join our team, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The selected candidate will start as soon as screenings are cleared. This role requires an individual with excellent documentation skills, high attention to detail, and general mechanical engineering knowledge, who can quickly immerse themselves in initiatives after training.
Responsibilities- Review documentation of procedures and ensure proper execution of protocols and SOPs as part of the site's integration.
- Support the maintenance of controlled process documentation, including work instructions, process flow diagrams, gap analysis, control plans, and risk management documentation.
- Exercise knowledge of technical skills and understanding of business objectives, manufacturing operations, and dynamics of the company's environment to take a proactive leadership role in a specific technical manufacturing discipline.
- Set direction, lead, and take ownership of complex manufacturing engineering technical tasks that may have multiple inter‑coordinating elements.
- Anticipate and identify key issues and make recommendations for resolution where precedent may not exist, requiring creative thinking.
- Resolution may involve the application of new methods and approaches and may require consideration of impact with other system components.
- Engage in peer review with peers and mentors to confirm the rationale for task approach direction and verification/validation activities.

Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Software, or Mechanical Engineering
- 3-5 years of prior experience preferred
The role is based in a dynamic manufacturing setting where you will engage with various technical tasks and collaborate with peers. The work environment encourages proactive leadership and innovative thinking, with a focus on maintaining controlled process documentation. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Saint Paul, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $37.00 - $37.00/hr.
