Position Overview
ERA seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Structural Modeler I to join our team. In this role, you will support the development of 3D models and 2D construction documents for a variety of construction types using multiple software platforms. You will work from schematic sketches, reference drawings, consultant models, specifications, and verbal direction to assist in preparing accurate and coordinated project deliverables.
This role provides the opportunity to work closely with experienced team members while developing technical modeling and drafting skills. Daily tasks and project assignments will be clearly defined, closely managed and reviewed by an appointed supervisor. You will primarily serve in a supporting role, contributing to project production effort while learning established standards and workflows. You will report to an appointed supervisor who will provide direction, mentorship, and regular feedback.

- Prepare construction documents that include technical drawings, details, and structural notes
- Develop accurate and complete drawing packages in accordance with project requirements
- Utilize multiple software platforms to produce coordinated construction documents
- Coordinate and integrate technical information in design and construction across various construction types
- Work from schematic sketches, reference drawings, consultant models, specifications, and verbal direction
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to company drafting and modeling standards
- Coordinate and consult with internal project team members and senior modelers to complete assigned tasks
- Assist with construction administration duties as needed to support active projects
- Communicate progress and questions to appointed supervisor to ensure alignment with project expectations

Hours:
9:00am-3:00pm Monday-Thursday - Friday Flex – 9:00am-12:00pm
- Associate’s degree in architectural/structural/construction design and drafting technology program
- 0-2+ years of related experience; internships, coursework, or project based experience
- Proficiency with industry standard modeling and office software including Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams)
- Demonstrate ability to stay self-motivated, both independently and within a team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to convey information clearly and collaborate effectively
- Creative, adaptable problem-solving skills, ability to understand and apply design and construction principles
