Product Engineer, Product Manager
Our manufacturing client is seeking a Global Product Manager to lead a small, high-performing product and engineering team responsible for driving product launches and customer-focused solutions. This is a strategically focused, market-facing role reporting directly to Marketing and Product Leaders, bridging technical expertise with global product impact. While a technical background in chemical, mechanical, materials, or related engineering disciplines is required, this is not a hands-on engineering role.
The focus is on product strategy, enabling customer success, and shaping global product initiatives, collaborating across Leadership, R&D, Sales, Marketing, and Operations. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team, influence product strategy globally, and deliver measurable business impact, all while remaining based in Minnesota.
- Lead a global product and technical team supporting new product introductions (NPI) and customer-facing technical initiatives.
- Partner with R&D, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to translate technical capabilities into market-ready solutions.
- Develop and maintain market and technical intelligence to inform global product strategy.
- Oversee creation of training, enablement materials, and technical resources for internal teams and customers.
- Be proactive and strategic.
- Define, track, and optimize KPIs for product adoption, performance, and customer success.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team effectiveness and global product impact.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver integrated solutions that support business growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, Chemical Engineering with MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in product management, product development, or applications.
- 4+ years of people leadership experience, managing small teams.
- Strong understanding of physical product development, technical enablement, and new product introduction.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and technical writing skills.
- Comfortable in a cross-functional, global environment with exposure to market strategy and customer-facing initiatives.
Hybrid, St. Paul office with some ability to travel 10–20% (not frequently, just a few times/year), domestic & international travel.
Salary$125k-$150k/yr base salary
