MSP - Mechanical Engineer

The primary role of this position is to support the design and development of complex and innovative components in precision vapor delivery systems for semiconductor manufacturing. Design work focuses on heat transfer, fluid flow, and particle dynamics, applying fundamental mechanical engineering principles. You will work in cross-disciplinary teams under guidance from senior engineers and project managers, collaborating with manufacturing staff to solve production problems.

• Perform design, modification, experimentation, testing, and analysis of moderately complex systems.
• Apply basic heat transfer principles (conduction, convection, radiation) to evaluate thermal performance.
• Use fluid flow fundamentals to assess flow paths, pressure drop, and distribution.
• Support analysis and testing of particle or droplet behavior, including generation, transport, deposition, or evaporation.
• Assist with setup and execution of experiments and test equipment for thermal, fluid, and particle performance.
• Collect, interpret, and document test data to support design decisions and problem resolution.
• Generate and maintain engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, test plans, and reports.
• Execute ERP processes such as Part Number Creation, BOM modification, and Engineering Change Orders.
• Partner with manufacturing personnel to solve production problems.
• Collaborate with other departments.
• Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (a Master’s may substitute).
• 0–2 years of product development engineering experience.
• Mechanical engineering fundamentals knowledge.
• Experience with engineering tools and software.
• 3‑D CAD modeling proficiency.
• Proficiency in office applications.

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Internship or co‑op experience during the course of earning a required degree.
• Solid Works CAD experience.
• Heat transfer, flow, and pressure modeling experience using COMSOL or similar FEA software.
• Programming language experience.
• MATLAB proficiency.

Competitive market salary of $80,000–$90,000 per year, depending on qualifications, with potential bonus opportunities for eligible leadership and individual contributor roles.
