Must Have Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of one year of experience in medical device product development or equivalent.
- Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals with proven hands-on electronic/mechanical skills.
- Hardware Engineering: Strong foundation in electrical hardware design, characterization, bench testing, troubleshooting, and debugging.
- AI Tool Development and Utilization: Ability to develop, adapt, and apply AI-enabled tools to enhance engineering design, development, analysis, and test workflows.
- PCB Design and Circuit Modeling: Experience with PCB design, schematic capture, circuit simulation, and modeling to support robust hardware development.
- Execute hardware test, characterization, and debug activities to support electrical design development, integration, and issue resolution.
- Develop and drive formal characterization and verification efforts, including test planning, execution, data analysis, and documentation.
- Implement and apply AI-enabled tools and workflows to accelerate engineering design, development, test, analysis, and documentation activities.
Support cardiac implantable devices such as implantable monitors, pacemakers, and/or implantable defibrillators.
Target Experience- 3 years of relevant experience in electrical hardware engineering, including design, characterization, testing, debug, and integration.
- 1 year of experience applying automation, scripting, AI tools, or AI-enabled workflows to engineering development, analysis, or test activities is preferred.
The position is onsite, with interviews starting in April and hiring expected ASAP.
Additional Responsibilities- Research, develop, design, integrate, and test electrical components and systems for medical devices.
- Design electrical hardware, assemblies, PCBAs, power architectures, sensing and acquisition circuits, embedded hardware, and system-level electrical interfaces for regulated products.
- Leverage AI-enabled engineering tools to improve productivity, quality, and decision-making.
- Create and improve automated methods for engineering tasks, including test automation and data reporting.
- Partner cross-functionally with teams to deliver robust, compliant, and scalable solutions.
This role typically involves individual contribution within a professional discipline, focusing on electrical systems design, electrical hardware development, and AI-enabled engineering methods for medical devices. The position requires delivering and overseeing projects from design through implementation while adhering to policies and quality system requirements.

- University Degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
